This policy explains what BigTree Stays collects when you use bigtreestays.com, why we collect it and who else handles it. BigTree Stays is operated by Big Tree Properties, LLC.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical data any website receives.

• Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, the home you are asking about and your message.
• Owner estimate form (for homeowners who want us to manage a property): your name, email, phone, the property's city and details, the number of bedrooms, whether it is rented now, how you heard about us and any notes.
• Date search: the dates and guest count you pick are passed to our booking site in the page address so it can show prices. We do not store them.
• Technical data: like every website, our host receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

We never ask for payment details on this website.

How we use it

We use what you send to answer your question or prepare an owner estimate. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Who handles it

• Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers form submissions to us by email.
• Google runs the Gmail inbox where form submissions arrive.
• Hostaway runs our booking site. When you check prices or book, you are on Hostaway's pages, and the details you enter there (including payment) are handled under Hostaway's privacy policy and that of its payment processor, Stripe.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Some page transitions may save a short note in your browser's own storage, which never leaves your device and clears itself. Our booking pages, run by Hostaway, may use cookies needed to complete a booking. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie that helps tell visitors from automated bots; it is not used for tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form and owner estimate emails for up to 24 months, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email bigtreevacationproperties@gmail.com or call (414) 622-0372, and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Keeping it safe

Forms are sent over an encrypted connection, and only our team reads what you send.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of use and Accessibility statement.
