Planning a Group Trip for 10 or 12: How to Find the Right Vacation Home
Family reunions, friends' getaways and milestone birthdays. How to choose a home that works for a big group.
Searches for "vacation homes that sleep 10" or "sleeps 12" are growing fast, as more families and friends choose one big house over several hotel rooms. Done right, it is more fun and often better value.
Look past the headline number. Count real beds and bathrooms, and ask how many bedrooms have their own bathroom. Couples sharing a house will be happiest with en-suites. Check that the kitchen, dining table and outdoor seating actually fit everyone at once.
Think about how the group will spend time together and apart. A big pool deck, a fire pit or a game area pulls everyone together, while separate living spaces give people room to recharge. Parking matters too when several families drive in.
Our Sweetwater home on Siesta Key sleeps up to 12 with three king en-suites, and Cape House in Cape Coral sleeps up to 10. Contact us and we will help you match your group to the right home.
